Opening of the New Love roadhouse on Highway 97 in Madras


Love’s travel stops is now at the service of Madras customers, thanks to a new truck stop which opened its doors on Thursday. The Madras store, located along US Highway 97 at the southern end of town, adds 46 jobs and 82 truck parking spots in Jefferson County.

“We are delighted to expand our presence in Oregon and open our sixth location there,” said Tom Love, Founder and Executive Chairman of Love’s, in a press release. “This location will provide customers with a clean, well-stocked and maintained place to stop, before our team members get them back on the road safely and quickly.”

This location is open 24/7 and offers many amenities, including:

· 82 truck parking spaces.
· 61 parking spaces.
· Four RV parking spaces.
· Six diesel compartments.
· Five showers.
· Laundry room.
· Gourmet coffee beans.
· Branded snacks.
· Mobile to Go Zone with the latest electronic devices.
· CAT scale.

In honor of the inauguration, Love’s will host a dedication ceremony and donate $ 2,000 to the Jefferson County Faith Based Network. The money will be used for his shelter from the cold.
