Mid-State Truck Service started Truckers for Tots 13 years ago to support Toys for Tots’ mission of easing the financial stress of the holidays while making sure kids have something to open on Christmas morning.
Along with their campaign sponsors: Roehl Transport, Furniture and ApplianceMart, International Trucks, Idealease of Central WI, Cummins and Purple Mountain Solutions, Mid-State Truck Service aims to ensure everyone has a wonderful vacation.
2021 has brought unfortunate situations for many local families. That’s why the Truckers for Tots campaign is on a mission to top last year’s donation of over $50,000 worth of new toys to the local communities they serve. All the money raised goes towards buying toys to help bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas morning, according to the company.
Fleet Farm will once again be the retailer for each shopping event taking place in 5 different locations over the next few weeks:
- Nov. 30 – Stevens Point, Wisconsin @ 5:00 p.m.
- December 1 – Marshfield, Wisconsin at 5:00 p.m.
- December 2 – Duluth, Minnesota at 5:00 p.m.
- December 6 – Wausau, Wisconsin @ 4:00 p.m.
- December 7 – Chippewa, Wisconsin at 4:00 p.m.
At each shopping event, participating volunteer employees and community members will fill their carts with toys which will then be loaded into a tractor-trailer and taken to the local Toys for Tots distribution center. Mid-State Truck Service would like to thank Truckers for Tots campaign sponsors, donors and members of the communities they serve for continuing to show their generosity and commitment to their community, the company said.
