Investigators are looking for this pickup truck that was stolen from a murder scene at a Coweta County gas station on November 12, 2021.

Investigators are seeking answers after a fatal shooting at a local truck stop last week.

Investigators released a new video on Monday showing this work van with the words “Assured Conveyance” on the side.

The incident occurred Friday night when MPs responded to a call for shots at Pilot Truck Stop, located at 1645 S. Hwy. 29 near exit 41. Witnesses reported seeing two men arguing in the parking lot, before one of the men was shot by the other.

According to Inv. Toby Nix with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

A rescue flight provider was quickly contacted regarding the patient’s transport. The helicopter landed at the local airport approximately 20 minutes after the initial call, but the victim was then transported by ground ambulance with the support of the rescue crew to a local hospital, according to local reports.

The victim subsequently succumbed to his injuries. His name, age and hometown are not known at this time, authorities said.

Witnesses reported seeing a white pickup truck marked “Assured Conveyance” on the side fleeing the parking lot and heading north on Highway 29 toward the highway.
