A father of six has been missing for days after he was last seen at a truck stop in Arizona.

Beau Riddle was last seen on Friday, July 22 at Driver truck stop near Littlefield, Ariz., the Mohave County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team said in a Facebook post.

Riddle, 49, of Layton, Utah, was driving his truck and pulling a trailer for work when he pulled over near the Border between Utah and Arizonaaccording to a press release from Paul Murphy, spokesperson for the family.

In his last message to his employer, he said he was having a nervous breakdown and having trouble with his truck because of the heat, the statement said.

His manager was trying to get Riddle a hotel and arrange for another driver to take the trailer to Idaho, the statement said. He was last heard from at 4:47 p.m.

His trailer was found abandoned the next day and his truck was found Sunday hidden behind storage trailers near the truck stop where he was last seen, Murphy said.

Inside his truck, clothes, an empty wallet and other items were thrown into the vehicle, according to his family.

“Beau was a perfectionist and compulsively kept everything clean and tidy,” Kim Riddle, Beau’s wife, said in a July 26 press release. “The rear door of the truck was down and clothes were even found in the dumpster of the truck. Even when Beau suffers from anxiety, he’s still obsessed with keeping everything in place.

Authorities do not suspect foul playon Monday, July 25, said the press release from the family spokesperson.

But his family has concerns.

“I fear there has been foul play. I’m cautiously optimistic, but it doesn’t look good,” Beau’s father John Riddle said.

Search and rescue teams are looking for Riddle in the areas where his car and the trailer were found. Dogs were used to search for the man on Tuesday July 26, his family said.

Riddle has also been listed as a National Missing Person by the Layton Police Department in Utah.

“I just wish I could hear anything about my husband,” Kim said. “I literally try to keep things together and stay positive. I appreciate anyone who wants to help.
